ok i got a large male leopard he was having shed issues on his tail and he started chewing at it after a while
it started as a discoloration or almost looked like burns which turned out to be false i had the temp and everything right so i assumed it had to do some thing with the shedding
then he started chewing at it and it looked a little infected but i didnt want to mess with it figuring it would just heal up i keep a pretty clean tank
now its gotten so bad to the point where i cant find info on it i need forum help
just the other day i was thinking about making his tail fall off and start over but i figured id get advice prior to following through with that decision
and well its like he heard my thoughts because a day before my id validated for the forums i woke up to his tail on the other side of the tank its a clean break im just unsure how to go about making it grow back healthy like neosporin or any shit i need to give him to make it right any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

you can put neosporin on it just make sure it is the plain kind NOT with pain meds in it. When mine dropped his tail I just left it alone and made sure his cage stayed very very clean and it grew back fine.
