Looks like some skin didn't come off from last shed. The tip of her tail doesn't look too good. I used a cue tip with witch hazel to make sure the wound was clean and tried to moisten her tail a little. Is it possible to just lose the tip? image(1).jpg image.jpg

i have had this happen once before, and the only way that the skin came off was with coconut oil based lotion that my mom made, but im sure any lotion would work if its all natural. and i am pretty sure that just the tip can come off by itself, but i am not completely positive... otherwise you have a very beautiful gecko there. and i wish you luck! :)

Give her 2 baths a day, using 90degreeF water (no hotter), and just let her soak until the water cools below 80degreeF. This may loosen it up so you can remove the shedskin. You can use ointment (neosporin??) if there is an open wound.

After the shedskin is gone, open wounds will only close during shedding. Each new shed will remove the scab and the wound should be smaller each time. :)
