Tail Swing

I was watching my gecko earlier tonight and I noticed that she was swinging her tail back and forth while laying down. I have never seen her do this before and I was wondering if anyone else has seen this and if it means anything?

Alot of times geckos do it when paired together for mating, its kind of like a hey im ready sign from the female, or "dang ur lookin fine" from the male. Ive seen a few geckos do it to try to scare me away from them also

My geckos will sway their tails in the air if they see another gecko or their reflection. I believe it's a territory thing. My males will vibrate their tail when they see a female letting her know he's ready to mate.

Do you think a gecko would also wave its tail when its very relaxed? There were quite a few times I saw one of my male (housed alone and can't see other geckos) relaxing on his rock, and then started waving his tail very very slowly, he is very calm, even half asleep. And if he notice me peeping, he would stop the waving, but continue to lay there as if nothing had happened. I thought his actions were interesting, but he is my only gecko that does it.

Well, Chomp was talking about raising it in the air. Mine swing it and drag it across the ground all the time.
