Tail Tip Falling Off...

I hava a female that just got done shedding, and I think she pulled off her skin too soon. The tail tip it was darker, and now its purple/red and getting harder. I have her in a warm soak right now, and will continue to do that 3 times a day for the next few days, but I wanted to know if anyone has had a leo that healed up and the tip didn't fall off? I thought about putting neosporn on it to hopefully soften it up but thought I would ask you guys first. I've had a leo that had this happen to there toes and I'm sure it will be the same with the tail tip. (and I do keep a humid hide in all my leos cages)

at least a tail tip will grow back it doesnt seem like a big deal

Wow, quick reply! and I know it's no big deal and won't hurt her health at all, you can barely even see it it's a the tip of her tail, but I was just wondering if it could be saved at all (most likely not)

I have a male leo that's tip of his tail turned real blackish brown and got really shriveled (thank goodness it was the tip) Then one day it fell off. He looks like nothing happened. It was only the very tip though.
