Hi Everyone!!

My hats are off to all of you that take great pictures of your leopard geckos. I tried and let's just say it's harder than it looks. My question is what do you use as a background to take pictures on? Do you use a white bowl, a top of a plastic tub, etc?

Thanks for the feedback!

you can use about anything. I use the tiles on the floor in my house. Just make sure they cant get away. U can use paper towels, paper. Pretty much anything that looks appealing to you.:main_thumbsup:

I would definitely recommend using some kind of matte surface. Anything reflective will obviously be a lot harder to shoot on. Other than that, yeah.. it's all just personal preference.

I have a cheap light tent that I pull out and use whenever I am in the mood

I usually take pics when I am cleaning or feeding (like many other people here) so I usually just take pics of them in their tubs

I do use 2 small floodlights to try and not have to use the camera flash

IMO the best pics are outdoor pics but then I am always worried about keeping them from running off-lol

There are many people here that take the most incredible pics
