Taking your bearded dragon in public??

So, this is kind of a silly topic. But I love to take my bearded dragon on car rides with me. He loves to back in the sunlight and feel the breeze. I've always wanted to take him to more places other than a walk around town or in the car. Do you think there are any commercial stores that would allow this? I'm talking about stores like walmart, retail stores, clothing stores, ect. Also, does anybody else like to take their beardies out for little 'walks' (just sitting on my shoulder) around town? Let me know what you guys think, I'd love to take him on more adventures with me.
