Tale of tail

My leo has gotten pretty used to being around people. She is relaxed, but wont hesitate to crawl all around you. It was during this that she made a quick dash under the bed. She was easily spotted, but not before my cat spooked the tail off her!
It's been a week since the incident and she's definitely healing. My question is how is the new tail going to look? Any users with photos?

This is my boys tail. It broke off halfway down before I purchased him, And his tail grew back looking relatively normal :)

Typically when their tails fall off they grow back looking smoother, shorter, and wider. It's an evolutionary trick to make their new tail look more like their head so predators won't know which end to grab. Some grow back more normal-looking than others.

Thanks a lot, everyone! I can see hers starting to grow back. I've been babying her with nice gut-loaded roaches and calcium dusted mealworms. I can't wait to see how it will turn out. Will the pattern be the same or will it have a different one? :O

My boy that is pictured below had a nearly complete carrot tail before he dropped it (according to the reptile store) and as you can see, it is now black and white spotted with a few splashes of the original orange. It all varies between geckos though, but it would be interesting to see if there are consistencies between the regenerated tails of different morphs... :)
