TAME or TRUST IN YOUR GECKO
...............I HAVE BEEN ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT MY VIDEO SO MANY TIMES .......here tis more.

A lot of gecko gotters or getters still wonder HOW?
can I handle my new, or even a gecko you have had a while.
Now that it's not baby size so can we "get along" with each other.
Most say, how can I "TAME" it.....Better to say, how can I get it to "TRUST" me?
Watching a gecko is great, breeding, is greater, .....but if you don't hold your FRIEND........
You are missing something. (for sure)

Baby video shown on methods that work, continue to work for adults but slower and perhaps
a slight change may be necessary as described below video.

Video " water board method of hand training " is worth a start.

Adult size geckos set up more fear to handlers for a possible nasty bite.
I'm sure there has been " nasty " bites from geckos.
I've never had one. I use this method and "NEARLY" always feed with tongs.
Exception is my girl "Spider."
Things that result in causing most bites come from approaching from " behind "
or the appearance of a finger to be food.
Adult fear can be overcome by wearing a " gardener's cloth " glove lightly
wet down with water......problem with this is possible snagging a tooth.
{By the Gecko, that is}
Other comments: Patience, feel gecko friendly before pickup, bring gecko
to your body upon pick up. I feel your body heat adds calming comfort.
Feeding after a hand session seems helping too.
Take care. HJ
