Hey guys I was wondering I went to an expo and I`ve been on the net,
and I`ve seen geckos that are SHTCTB for only 20 bucks and then I see blood hypos [which i dont know the differnce of] and there like 900 BUCKS honestly I dont see much of the difference can someone please tell me the difference inlook and or genetics????

Orange saturation. $20 tangerines are likely going to be more yellow when full grown, where as a $900 Blood Hypo might border on red.

Anthony, maybe you could clarify this for me (slightly off-topic). Tangerine is a line-bred trait, not simple dominant/recessive, correct? So a very orange tang parent crossed to a normal will create offspring that rank somewhere in between both parents on the color scale?

Also, I love the gecko in your avatar. That is what I would call orange!!

Well, alot of it has to do with the color of orange. Your typical SHTCTB will be light orange-orange. The "blood tangerine" is most likely more of an orangish-red. Also, you pay for the name as well on a lot of the tangerines. It's all about what you like and are willing to pay.
