Tangerine?

This was called a carrot-tail and recently someone told me it was a tangerine. Still a nice catch at local petstore. No idea of age or sex.

Pretty little gecko! At this point, I would not consider this gecko to be a carrot-tail because it has black spots at the base of it's tail. They may fade and the deep orange may develop more as it grows. I would consider this gecko to be a super hypo-tangerine, and it will probably get even more hypo and orange with every shed.

You asked so here you go, killers layout consists of warm, moist, cool hides. Also is a water dish and calcium mealworm feeder dish (glazed clay pot bottom):

Keep in mind my tank layouts, I change logs every so often just for them to explore. Will post spikes tank but was cleaning it!

Killer shed again last night(Aug 6 2007). Seems like a week since last shed but here's some pictures 24hrs from shed:

Spots on back and base of tail seem to be diminishing? Sex still undetermined.

Yes its reptile carpet. I have 3 spare for each of my tanks for easy cleaning.
