I'm a graphic designer and I have a large format Canon printer. So... I've been creating my custom backgrounds for my geckos.
I print on a media called "eclipse" that is generally used for banner-ups and tradeshow graphics. This media can hold up very well... up to 5 years in most cases. Then I use a clear lo-tac adhesive on the front... which seems to work awesome. It allows me to change out backgrounds whenever I feel like it.
The printer I'm using can print up to 1200dpi...
Here are the latest 2:
So... I'm open to helping you guys create custom backgrounds. I can't exactly do these for free, but I'm willing to work with you at a reasonable rate if interested. The media generally costs about $25+ per square feet and I'm willing to drop to around $15. Which would be around $40ish for a 20 gallon long.
I'm even open to bartering.
Just let me know... you can also email me at [email protected]
