Hey everyone. Haven't been on the site in quite a while. The reason for my thread is that I recently rearranged my 20 gallon tank in which I keep my two awesome geckos. The right side remained the same but on the left I added a platform with a large moist hide (under which I will add an UTH tomorrow) with a ramp leading up to it and rearranged some things.
I am nervous, however, because while my geckos seem to enjoy the new setup more since it provides another level and more hides, I don't think they have eaten since I changed it. I have always used a mealworm dish with the curved-in lip to keep them from escaping and my geckos have always eaten from there, even going to it and staring in when they're hungry and have no more worms! Originally I moved the dish a couple of inches, but recently put it back to where it was before, but they have not eaten out of it. The worms remain the same and some have even turned into aliens. It has been about 10 days and I'm starting to get worried since I want my geckos to be eating and not be overly hungry.
Any tips on how I can get them to start eating from the dish again? Any tips on how I can reacquaint them with the feeding dish? I just don't know what to do. Hopefully they'll find the dish and starting eating from it soon, but it's just not like them to go this long without emptying their worm dish. They're both about 3 years old by the way and have been in this same tank together for 2 years.
