Tapwater?

Hey guys. Lately I've been having concerns the city has changed our tapwater. Obviously we still drink it and have not had any side effects but I've noticed a couple of my geckos now having runny/loose stools and being a little lethargic (i.e. Obviously shedding but not pulling the skin off themselves). I am now switching them all to distilled water probably forever but has anyone else had any experience with this?

maybe chlorine levels are too high for the geckos. try boiling the water first
