im using a 75watt red bulb and a 10-20 gal zoo med uth with the bulb alone temps were 80-85f hot side now with the uth alone right under the hotside hide its 90 on the floor is this safe and good for my gecko
Just to get this correct, you're using only the UTH and the hot side hide is getting up to 90*? If that's it, then then your temps are perfect, actually you could even go a degree or two higher if you wanted.
I'd say forget about the red bulb unless things get REALLY cold and you need the extra heat.
yes with only the uth its 90 but if i use both and just have the light over the tank not facing straight down its at like 97f inside the hide right now i have the thermal probe sitting inside the hide
