Hi, I am preparing everything for my leo, but i have some problems. First is that i live in central america, very hot and humid. I have set my 10gal tank, and the normal temperature is 85F and about 80%-90% of humidity(Day and night). It will be necessary adding a light?, and if so i shlould use a 15watts?

I am planing to turn on the light (If i need one) at 6am, and turning off at 7pm, at that time the sun is totally gone... I will be able to turn the light of my bedroom or the tv after that?

This is my first topic :D

First off Welcome to GF! :D and in regards to the light i wouldn't think u would need one at all for heat purposes as long as u had a UTH with thermostat. Central america is very warm and humidity could pose a prob..also not sure about that..the uth is necassary but light is not..another thing, cause i wanna see my geckos too, is to find a low wattage bulb that doesn't throw any or hardly any heat so that you can still watch and enjoy it. no u don't have to turn off your tv at night til u are ready too tho maybe a bright light you should..these are all just my opinion and anyone else that has a lot more experience with hotter climates please pipe up lol I live in New England and we only have 2 hot months a year :p
