Every care sheet I go to varies, so I wanted to know from your personal experience, is 96-98 F too hot for the warm side? The cool side is 78, but they seem to love the warm side...I just dont want them to hurt themselves.

Thanks,
Ryan

I'm fairly new at this (4 days into it new lol). But I think I was told on here that 85-90F or 90-95F was warm enough. I don't think it was over 90F tho. But our tank sits @ 90.4F right now.

Im using an under the tank heater for my cages. If i were to lay a thermometer directly above the substrate that lays above the UTH, what temp should it read? I think mine is running very hot.

anywhere between 93-97 is ok. keep ambient air temps about low to mid 80's. humidity 25-40%. The great thing about leopard geckos is that they are hardy little animals and will thrive in a range of conditions.
