Paper towel roll, turned over flower pot with hole cut into it, solid tupperware with hole cut open for entry... the possibilities are endless

That is about all I could come up with.

yep :D
depending on size of the leo's I use empty toilet roll tubes, kitchen roll tubes, plantpot saucers with holes cut (the bigger ones I cut in half and put a backing in the cut edge to make half-cicles), empty meat trays (again with a entrance cut), empty deli trays, small cardboard gift boxes and even make my own from polystyrene and grouting ;)
Funnily enough what I've found with my leo's is that they prefer the 'low to the ground' type of DIY hide to bought hides :D

If you have some clean egg crates at home, maybe you could stack a few pieces to make a temporary shelter. ;)

If I already have a hide on his cold section... and I don't think i will be able to pick up another one in the near future, is that OK? He mainly uses that one anyway. Or should I Make One.

Mkae your gecko one, that is all we use here and the geckos love them, less attractive.. yea, but they geckos aren't stressed and that is always good.
