Temps..

Alright so I got my whole tank set up and I think my temps are low..and I don't really know how to get the heating up. The cool side is about 65 degrees F, and the warm side is 80 degrees... Should I add a lamp? If so what kind? My tank is a 20L.

What kind of thermometer are you using to measure temps? Is it a stick on a dial or a digital thermo? What size uth and brand do you have? What kind of substrate are you using and what are the avg temps of the room the tank is in?

K, the thermo is one of those crappy ones from the petshop... Im gonna check and make sure its accurate tonight. The size UTH it said its for a 10-20 gallon tank. The brand is Zoo Med. Sub. is paper towelsavg temps 65-70 degrees.
