I think enclosure contest would be better suited, Terrarium are techically simulate natrual habitat for plants and/or animals. Most people will make what they feel is a nice natrual cage not even studing what leopard geckos natrual habitat is like. Thats my 2 cents.

Yes,this is only for Leopard Gecko enclosures.I have to talk to some of the admins about the prize.And the judges will be myself and I am going to ask a couple of people in a couple of hours.

Here you can see our best Terrariums

This one has two times the size of 47"x20"x16".

The other one has three floors and the one on the bottom and the floor in the middle of the terrarium are one- so the geckos can climb from the first to the second floor and back. The size of this one is 59"x23"x50" at the bottom and 59"x23"x16" at the 2nd and the 3rd floor.

On this picture you can see the hole in the bottom of the 2nd floor where the geckos have to climb trough to change their level.

The substrate in all the terrariums is not just sand- it's a mixture of sand and loam which makes the substrate as massive as it must be for the geckos to dig there own hides into the substrate without collapsing there claw-made homes

that is one of the most amazing enclosures i have ever seen! thats a really good idea. i think i want to build something along those lines.
