Thank you Marcia!! candling is awesome!!! Erin brought home a couple pen lights and i checked the bunch.. two out of 15 eggs were duds not too shabby!! and there is a huge difference between a dud and fertile ..night and day i have seen the light!!!LOL thanks for the talk i appreciate it!!:main_thumbsup:

Candling is pretty amazing. You can usually tell right away (with the right light, a regular flashlight rarely works since the light it emits is yellow) whether eggs are good or not.

Leave them cooking anyway Eric. I hatch a very cool gecko from a egg that candled yellow a few weeks ago... SSLVPA:main_thumbsup:

If it don't smell rotten and the egg isn't colapsed leave it lol
