So this build it yourself stuff is contagious...we have been playing with some stuff trying to maximize the space for our gecko in its 20L Terr..
So it looks like this at current..
here it is with the humid hide in..
Either way. After seeing all the good work some of you do with foam, grout and paint I have decided to dabble in that as well..
So I picked up some foam (insulation type for free) from my Dad..Got some 12x12 tile and a 6x12 tile piece from HD for 4 bucks..( the tile will replace the 6x6 slate tiles I had been using as substrate, crickets could get under them and hide..PITA)
So heres my 6x12 insulation after cutting..
And here it is with the 6x12 tile on top of it..I realize Its a small scale attempt..
obviously I still have to grout and paint it..
the intent ....it will serve as a low profile hide site and also add little more floor space..
I still have to decide which end to put it on..over the UTH or at the other end..
suggestions accepted ..
