my female snow bell just laid eggs, she bred with enigma bell.
it's the first time I see leopard gecko's eggs and it's bigger than I thought(my only previous experience with egg is Thai common lizard lol)
Never expect eggs tbh, one egg looks kind half flat though is it ok? will take pic tomorrow and post here.

When I can expect her to lay another clutch?

since it's my first time breeding so I don't expect much, just a pair of Enigma Snow Bell is enough :D

Holy crap!!! With your high end collection I figured you'd been breeding for a while... You sure like to start big! :main_laugh:

Anyway, congrats on your first eggs... If she lays any more eggs you can expect them between 2-6 weeks after laying... Some females lay every two weeks like clockwork and some lay sporadically leaving you very anxious... ;)

After every third clutch I reintroduce the male to insure fertility...

Best of luck and I hope to see lots of cool babies!

DANG IT!!!

2 eggs gone bad in 24 hours after I started this thread. I guess it's my fault I didn't prepare good size box for her to lay eggs in. I guess she crushed those 2 eggs when she laid them. I never expect her to lay eggs because she's always a fat gecko, that's my defense. Just move her to bigger box.

On a side note, there's a rumour that last year many female bell snows laid infertile eggs. Is that true?:(

If thats her first Clutch that "normal" my 2 Bell females that I paired to my MackBell male were First yearers too and so far I´v lost the firs 2 Clutches of female 1 (3rd looks good to me) and female 2 layed 2 Clutches (1 clutch = 1 fertile egg and secon Clutch fertile).
So no Problem. I have a MShB female that will lay her first eggs this week so I guess I will see if she will looser her first Clutch too or not^^.
And the second yearer will lay her first eggs this week too.

First time around alot of 1st year females lay duds..... don't sweat it T. Even if you have a proper laybox, females will sometimes lay outside the box especially if they know it's infertile.

Keep trying T, you will get fertile eggs ;)

Some females take as little as 12 days between laying and I have a girl who goes(no joke) 6 WEEKS between clutches!! The average is 2-3 weeks from my experience.

I also have a girl who waits that long in between clutches too!:main_laugh: Good luck on your next clutch.
