Thanks..are cresties more..."sleepy" than leos?

I know they are nocturnal but whenever i see leos they are always zzzzz..never awake..but when ive seen crested they are peaking out form behind something or sneaking around!

I don't know.... I know that half of the time my leos ARE awake, they just have their eyes closed. Besides, Cresties don't have "eyelids", so it could be hard to tell, but in my experience, no, they aren't.

Cresties are a little too flighty for my liking. I prefer leos. Plus, it's a lot harder to get a leo to drop their tale than a crested.

Crested all the way.
Easier to handle
There arboreal!
Easier to clean up after
More geckos per tank size. (of course this depends, but in general)
If you don't want you can skip the crickets (My female will not touch them anymore)
Crested's need no heat source.(But I still run a light)
Their tanks are a lot more fun to design and to enjoy IMO

To answer your other question. When I kept leos they seemed to be more personable
and would watch me walking around my rep room. Crested's are still friendly but they do seem like they would rather just be left alone ya know.

:main_thumbsup: I agree with you all the way! (Not that I'm saying that I don't like Leos, they're great too!)
