This little girl was brought in last night when a woman found her in her yard. Momma never came for her. She brought it in because it was getting cold last night and didn't know what to do. I will now be syringe feeding her every 2 hours for the next month. She weighs 121 gms and is fortunately eating well. She already has a home. The girl will be taking her when she can do every 4-6 hour feedings. I'm lucky to have been able to find a home for her. However I do have a friend who has 4 girl kittens that do need homes that won't be ready for another month or so. *HINT* If you live in jersey and want one, let me know. Tis now the season for abandoned kittens, so our hands will be full.

Aww, what a sweet heart! I love cats and would love to have more but my little demon kitty already in the house won't allow that. Good luck with that little one!

Thanks, I finally got her taking a bottle and she's eating like a champ. She should reach the pound mark by tomorrow. She is gaining about 10-14 gms a day. Not bad. Her eyes opened last night. I was ecstatic!! She is doing so well. Hopefully in 3 weeks or so she can go to her new home. My daughter is already begging to keep her and I keep having to explain why she's not staying. She doesn't get it. She'll understand with time.

What a cutie! I remember my sleepless nights with litters of bottle babies every 2 hours! It's worth it, but very tiring. They are cute, but demanding little buggers! I won't ever take more than 4 at a time!

At least our foster litter right now has a Momma!! It's soooo much easier! :main_yes: No stimulating/helping with elimination, either! Woohoo! ;)

Awww....what a sweetheart. Have you asked around to see if any pounds or humane societies have a milking queen that's been abandoned without her litter? That saved our butt once. We had some barn kittens left by their mother then she got hit on the highway in front of our house. We "borrowed" the lactating queen until the kittens were on their feet, and man did that help! I wasn't the walking dead at work lol.
