Hello all!!
As I've mentioned in other posts I'm really attempting to get my geckos temp to a good area and I'm having a lot of trouble.
At the moment I think my problem my be my thermometer, I have a corallife digital thermometer for reptiles. It has a probe that I sit in his warm hide, however, it's always reading low even though I've gotten a new UTH and have recently tried (because of some suggestions) a 75 watt soft white bulb during the day to add some heat. It still reads low 80's. So in a last ditch attempt I'm going to go and buy a new thermometer but I was just wondering what you guys use/suggest.
From experience and suggestion I know the temp strips are crap, the laser thermometers are usually quite expensive but are they worth the money? or should I try another digital probe one that is hopefully more accurate?
Any advice is appreciated, thanks for your time.
