When I purchased my gecko and supplies I got a round exo terra thermometer.
Today I decided to pick up a digital thermometer with probe (ESU) mainly to clear up some floor space.
When I put the probe in my perfectly regulated 90 degree tank, it read 99 degrees!!
My gecko has been eating and pooping well and went through a shed in the last two weeks since I got him.
What thermometer do I believe?? They are both in the same spot on the bottom of the tank.
I feel terrible that it may have been too hot all this time when I was trying so hard to make everything perfect.
Also, a not so important thing... How do you mount your probe? I think I have seen people use tape??
