I have 2 Esu Digital thermometers, I lay down 2 plys of paper towel and stick the probe inbetween the 2. Should I be putting the probe on the top of the paper towel? And will it bug my gecko or scare him? And it should get more acurate tempature right? Thanks for listing, please tell me waht you think and your opinion.:main_thumbsup:

I put mine on top of the substrate, I think they are farily accurate but I personally do not think they are 100% accurate. I found this out after switching to a helix thermostat, it would read 85 and the ESUs would read 83 on one and 87 on the other.

A cheap mercury thermometer is actualyl more accurate than the ESU digitals and a temp gun would be best.

So they should be on top?

90-92 is better but from my experience those esu's can run a little low or a little high. Just keep a check on the temps.

Ok thanks I cranked it up to 90.9
