My questions are:
How many rows of heat tape or heat cable can 1 thermostat handle?
I have the following things.
Thermostat

Heat Tape

The thermostat has a 6 plug surge protector. I am currently only using one socket of the protector which is for 2 rows of heat tape at about 3 feet long. The thermostat only has one temperature probe. So there is the problem or what I think could be a problem. 1 probe for 5+ rows of heat tape.
Second question is:
Would you prefer flexwat tape or heat cable. What do you think?
