Thermostat in incubator

Hi!
I'm already made nwe incubator from fride and I don't know where I put probe from the thermostat? Where are better place, in hatchling box or somewhere out of box?

I have a "test" egg tub that I put mine in.

I put mine as close to the heat source as possible, but I guess it makes more sense to have it in a container.

I put mine in a "dummy" egg container too.
