Does anyone use the Zoo Med Remote Sensor Thermostat, Repti Temp 500R model: Rt500R? If so do you like it or is there one thats better?

After doing some research, I have heard that the Alife and ESU 1000 are better than the RT 500R. I don't have any personal experience, though.

Personally i use Johnson's thermostats. However my next incubator will use the 30$ 1000watt Zoo med. Clay Davenport who breeds colubrids and pythons uses this for his incubator, and claims to have never had a problem. It features +/-1degree increments.I will continue to use the Johsnons controls for our snakes, and our leopard geckos.:main_yes:

Ok, thanks. I use a ESU on my tank now so I'll just get two more, was hopeing to get by a little cheaper but it's not worth the risk to me. Thanks for replying.

The johsnons controlls unit unwired is only 40-50$... not bad at all for the quality.
www.Mgreptiles.com has them.. Matts a good guy ive bought 2 from him as well as over 80' of flexwatt in the past.
