You deff need some plants in there, I generally put the probes for the thermometer/hygrometer on the middle of the side so you know what the average temp humidity is, and then you will know it will be a little hotter above and a bit cooler below. And what are you using for substrate? I can't tell if it is just straight moss or if it is mixed with something else.

Personally I would use eco-earth/bed-a-beast over moss. This is just from personal experience as I had a crestie choke and die on moss, and I only had it in some hides not as the whole bottom. I know a lot of people do it with no problems, maybe I just had a rare occurence, I personally have never used moss for any reptile again though. At least the loose kind like you can get in the pet stores.

i did do some reading up on the substartes and theres a downside to most of them, i thought moss would be one of the safer ones! i use it for my leo moist hides as well. ill have a look at the eco-earth :) i also plan on using solely CGD with my gecko so there wouldnt be a risk of him scoping some of the substrate up if he was lunging at crix/locusts

You can get some sort of fake plant, like the leafy ones that you can buy in the reptile section of most pet store chains. I think Exo-Terra makes them? Or you can go to a crafts store and pick something out. At any rate, your Crested will want leaves it can take cover in during the day. Otherwise, your enclosure looks OK. Plenty of places to climb around on, which is good.

Looks nice. The background is much different from when I bought my tank. I like the green/brown look.
