Thinking about getting a male

We have 2 female geckos and was thinking about getting a male. Should we house the male separately from the females? The females are in a 36L tank.
I have no idea if they are ready for breeding but we definitely are not ready. Still a lot to learn!

Yes house them seperatly. I have seen first hand in less that 11 hours a male can do damage to a female if bred tooo much.
Order a good gecko book, such as Ron Trempers book. That will teach you alot. Hang out on here you will learn alot.
I dont know what your other female looks like, But if i remember right you have the dark female right? get a dark male for her

Yes, we have been told (on this forum) that our dark one is a Hyper Melanistic and our orange one is a tang.
Thanks for the suggestion on getting a dark male. We're trying to decide which morph would work best.

Probably a good dark male would be good. Hopefully you can reproduce some geckos that look like the hyper melanistic in your avatar. Good Luck!!!
