Thinking about starting mealworm colony

Is it worth it? Already have dubias established as main feeders. Probably would end up trying to sell off most of the mealies, possibly feed smaller ones to any gecko babies we spawn in the next few months and offer to adults as treats/variety. I've read where people have felt its not worth the hassle. Then I see people having 10's of thousands for sale. Opinions?

mealworms to me are by far the easiest feeders to breed. do a search here for mealworms and you will find tons of information on setups. good luck.

If you enjoy the process of breeding them, go for it, but since you have dubia going already it is definitely not necessary.

Mealies are cheap enough to buy on an as needed basis if you want them to add variety to your reptiles' diet, which also means you would have to sell a LOT of them to make cultivating them for sale worth it.
