Thinking of a Frog (or Toad)

I am looking for a frog that stays very small, so I can keep it in a 12x12x12 tank. What would you recommend? I would prefer one that only needs a water bowl (no large amounts of water)

Fire Bellied Toads would be a good option. Stay small and can do with a water bowel.

I'm sure you can. Actually, a lot of pet stores that carries herps would normally have these guys too.

Yes they are very common, they have a mossy green colored back with black speckles and a red orange belly that is also black speckled. They're quite active and enjoyable to keep. I had a pair but went away for a while on vacation and the "babysitters" didn't water them. When I got home they were all dried up.... They are always chirping and chattering away too. I would recommend you get more than one just because they are quite fun to watch.

Do you have any links to where I can find the info on making a 50/50 tank (water/land)? Do you have any ideas?
