O.k. I have had my female SHTCT ( I think ) for a year now and was thinking about trying to breed her next season. It will be my first attempt at breeding so I was wondering if anyone has an opinion on what type I should breed her with.

if you would like more Tangerines then breed her to another tangerine and if you would and you could also breed er to tremper albinos bells or any of the albino strains and the tangerines would be 100% het for any type of albino strain you breed to her,you could breed her to anything if you like just pick which male you would want to breed her to that you like and what babies you would like to produce.

Cool...thanks Daidra. I was thinking of maybe a tremper or bell albino, but wasn't quite sure if it would be a good match.

If she's not het for anything, then there is no particular benefit to breed her to a 'recessive' male, unless of course you plan to keep the offspring and start a breeding project. Instead you would want to cross her with a 'dominant' male such as a snow, enigma, or giant.

Now if you don't know if she is recessive to anything, I would start out breeding her to a sunglow to see if she is het for albino. That, and I love sunglows anyways.

oooh, I was going to do a sunglow project with my SHTCTB female and my Bell male.
And if she gave me fertile eggs this year, I could have started that very project next year.

But I don't believe I'm getting any fertile ones from her.:(
