Here on the east coast of Fl we have been getting hammered with rain for weeks now and my street has stay pretty much flooded. Today I went out to the garage and spotted a hawk taking a bath at the end of my drive way! I ran and got the camera and was able to get four shots off before a darn neighbor drove by and scared him off. All the little birds in the oak tree right next to him were not very happy. The pictures came out alright, I was about 25-30 yards away on full zoom.

Thats awesome. I always have hawks catching mice in the field across the road from my house. I never think to get a camera though...

That's a juvenile red-shouldered hawk and it's going after frogs or snakes

nah he was bathing, that last shot is fuzzy cuz he was dipping and shaking in the water.
