Okay, so this may sound like a dumb question, but I have to ask. Are geckos with eyelid-crinkles more prone to have eye problems? I ask b/c of the little gecko that I posted about the other day with the swollen eyes is the only one that we've ever had any problems out of and she's also the only one that we have that has eyelid-crinkles. I was trying to figure out if maybe the crinkles themselves made it easier for debris (etc.) to get into into the eye to cause infection and so on? Like I said, I know this may sound kind of dumb, but I am just really trying to come up with some theory to explain her mysterious eye problems. (lol)
