This ones really got me stumped.

So a couple days ago I purchased whats supposed to be 0.2 RADARs from ourselves (Company I work for) for my Bell W/Y male. These were sold to us as temperature sexed females and one of them is clearly a female..the other I'm not so sure. We had these two separate pretty much their whole lives but when I brought them home I decided to house them together. I thought I heard tail vibrations tonight BUT I did not see anything when I went to look (could be that one was eye balling a cricket about to strike?). And when I check under this ones vent it concerns me. Even though the one thats definitely a female is big enough to breed it'd suck if the other RADAR ended up a male and bred her because I really want to make my Bell W/Y 100% Het Eclipse this year. Heres pictures of some vent shot... let me know what you think:

Couple things worth noting: I was actually temporarily housing my male Diablo Blanco with my Female Tangerine Tornado (separated them after tonight) they're fairly big juveniles but quite young... I suppose the tail vibrations could be coming from the Diablo Blanco? The Diablo has much bigger bulge and pores than the RADAR in question here and is about half its size. Another thing I tried was putting this RADAR in with other females to see if it would try copulating but nothing--no tail wagging no interest. Then I put the RADAR in with the W/Y Bell male.. figured if I had two males theyd go after each other (but I'd be there to separate them quickly) but there was no interest from either. Just kind of walked near each other once ontop of each other but not the slightest bit of aggression.

Another photo here shows (but maybe not too well) the difference in head size between the RADAR in question and the Male W/Y Bell. The W/Y has a much thicker neck and head and is actually smaller than the RADAR which makes me think the RADARS a female but really does look like she has bigger pores than a female would have + has somewhat of a bulge near the cloaca.

Please let me know what you all think, thanks!

Looks like its a male.i have a male snow raptor that has small bulges but underneath I can clearly see the pores.i guess the bulges are all different sizes on them.

Yea, the bulge has me thinking its a male, however I am not totally convinced on the pores. My other males have way bigger pores on their undersides. Heres some pictures of my Phantom Marble & Diablo Blanco both 2/3rds of the RADARs size and their pores are much more evident despite them being much smaller than the animal in question.

Female RADAR (NOT the same animal we are questioning here but just for comparisons sake)

On a side note I've found out that the tail shaking culprit was indeed the Diablo Blanco. So again today I put in this RADAR with both males and females and no reaction from anyone. As far as body shape goes, both of the RADARs are identical, same head shape length and overall body composition (IMO).

Usually geckos at this age/size are easy to distinguish apart and generally the male will have the broader head and thick neck and just look more massive but these two both look like females until you look under them..

Also, I'm not trying to convince myself that I have 0.2 RADAR I just need to be 100% sure of what I have as I have no use for a male RADAR but a female would be extremely useful obviously.

Thanks!
