will this be too big or too small? I did the gallon conversion and it comes out to be 97 gallons but here are the measurements he tank measures 24" square and 36" inches high. Sopposobly the person I am buying it off of has kept 3 full size dragons in it so is it fine? I was thinking of getting a baby so would it be to big for it? ok thanks

ok I got the tank and it seems pretty big like huge! so i might have to divide it in half when I get a baby.......more people should be on the bearded dragon and other forums so people could get their questions answered.

97 gallons could easily house 2-3 Adult dragons, but I would start a baby in a 10/20 gallon and move up from their.

You CAN divide the tank that you have now
I personally think that a 10 gal tank does not provide enough in the way of a temp gradient for a basking animals such as a Beardie

By the time that you have the UV and the spot lamp on a 10 gal-there isn't much area that does not have direct exposure to either light or the heat from the spot bulb

just my 2 cents

I keep two subadults in a 70-gallon, and they do just fine. 97 gallons for a single baby would be a waste of space.

That is a huge tank and very deep
I would have a hard time getting into it to clean it with it being up on a stand but the I am short-lol
Guess that's what they made step stools for

Let us know what you end up putting in it (Cresties?)

If you do get Cresteds and they are babies you are going to end up in the same situation as with the baby beardie with it being too big to start with

It would make a nice tank for a colony of adult Cresties-lots of room for vines and branches

Keep us posted as to what you end up doing with it

Just a thought-if it is suitable for fish-you might go that route with it-lol
