For my new leo's tank I have decided to try a microfiber cloth to use as a substrate. I picked up some automotive detailing towels from costco, and put them through a wash cycle to make sure they were clean.
I did a search on this, only finding one other user of microfiber and no followup. My leo seems to enjoy it, and i feel its safer than the repti-carpet since there are no large loops to catch its toes on. The only problem I have is that crickets can find their way under it to hide.
The microfiber may only be temporary until I can find a tile saw to cut to the shape of Binder's tank.
Thoughts?
