i am new to the gecko World ... i Got Tico today ....cause the ower Did not have time for Her( dont know the sex yet ) so i thought this would be the best place for any question i have .....

Hi Scott,

Welcome to GF and i hope you like the forum and that's a nice thing you've done saving Tico, some pic's would be nice if possible.

To find out the actual sex, hold her on the slant so you can see underneath by the top of her tail and body and if she's a female from the top of her tail going onto her body it should run smooth where the tail joins the body but if you see 2 slight little bulges there between the tail and the body you've got a male.
How old Tico?

I brought my Blaze as a male and after a month i checked she was a female.

Tico is the same colour of my other two males i had quite a while back and he's lovely and healthy:main_thumbsup: but don't they change to some lovely colours when shredding their skins

I've just looked and your pic's are a slight blurred but you can still see the slight bulge from the tail onto the stomach.

I'll add some pic's later which shows you properly.

ok i see hemi-penal bulges but the pre anal pores dont look like the ones in the pictures


And Tico is doing great he sat on my arm last night for like 20 mins and was checking things out ....Woot

So Tico's definitely a male.lol

I cleaned Blaze out this morning shifted everthing out of her tank to re-turn the sand in there and put her in the bedroom to run wild, i found her the back of my dressing table, she's so carm to handle and always licks my hands when i'm holding her.
