Ok just a quick q for those that use it: Does it make the leo 'slip' a lot because I am probably overthinking this but I don't want my gecko to be uncomfortable sliding all over the place when he or she tries to get somewhere in the cage. :main_no:

Hi, I am using slate tiles as well. they are 11x11 and are neither even nor are they glazed. I think they make extraordinary substrate! Easy to clean, natural look and once heated up, they hold the warmth quite well.

Dumb question, but where can you get this natural slate? Lowes, Home Depot, etc?
And do you have to cut it to size or can they do it there?
