I'm going to be going Lowes for some tile to put in he bottom of my leos tank..... Does it matter if it's ceramic or porcelain? I read something about NOT getting glazed is that correct?

Thanks, lisa

Why dont you go with slate?, it has traction for your gecko and it looks 'natural'. Cheap to :main_thumbsup:....ceramic can result in them sliding everywhere

Just look for something with a rough surface. I bought porcelain, but it isn't glazed or coated with gloss. It's a little rough and my leo seems to be doing fine walking around. Keep in mind that porcelain is harder to cut than other tiles, however. :D

Sounds good. Good luck! I went to Home Depot and they wouldn't cut it for me >_>

Had to track down someone I know with a tile cutter and then assemble it just to cut some tile haha.
