tile question?

well i just got a piece of tile for my ten gallon tank i got a 20x20 cut in half and i already havit in the tank, how long does it take for it to get fully wamed??? and also will it remain warm at night too even if the temps drop down????? as of right now i have the ceramic bulb on so it gets warmed up faster

I see you made the switch from pt! Joie bout some pics. My slate took a few hours to warm up. It stays warm 24/7. The ceramic bulb should help warm it up faster though.

yeah i switch for two reasons one I was gonna doit eventually and the other bcuz the reptile/leopard gecko expert at the petstore said that my thing was getting too hot because I didnt had sand or exo terra n leos need sznd to survive so I went next door n got a tile n cut it in half.... Pics will come soon just meed to gdt them on my computer

Will a heat pad warm enough if you use ceramic tile? Slate?
sofar it has kept the temp at 94.7 since midnight

Sure will. Tile and slate absorb and keep heat really well.
it does!!!

oh yeah i forgot to say i got a 20x20 tile at homedepot and they cut it in half and it fits perfectly in the tank (well its just barelly shorther width ise but i asked them to cut them that way so it could fit in the aquarium but u cat tell tho)
