Hi there.
im thinking of changing my Coarse beech wood chip flooring in my leo Viv and was going to go for tile/slate, does it have to be a paticular sort of tile or slate? only we have a load left over from when we had the kitchen tiled and was thinking of using some of these, there about a couple of inch in diameter and around a centermeter deep so not sure how they would distribute the heat there a rough slate texture not shiney so would think they would be ok and look quite natural too
any help would be appreciated

thnks

We have the larger slate tile for flooring. It's in our kitchen and living room. I would say it's like 12in by 12in squares and the hubby grouted it into the 55gal. Had to trim a few pieces to make it flush as well. I LOVE the ease of cleaning now. Just a quick daily wipe.

The UTH isn't a problem for us either. I use a rheostat and the hot side stays nice.
