Tiny bugs in cage

Ok- I went to a reptile expo yesterday and got a super snow male thats still fairly small. I wasnt expecting to get a new gecko, but this guy was awesome, and I already had an extra cage and heater, so I said, why not? I came home and got him set up real quick cause I had to leave for dinner, and while I was out I picked up a lamp dimmer (for the UTH) and some extra hides. I came home, and decide that now that I have time I should properly clean the cage. The new gecko freaked out, so I decided its not a big deal and I would wait a few days until he calms down. I checked on him today and decided to see he if wanted a small mealie, so I put one down on the paper towel and hes not interested, which I expected but I thought I would try anyway. I came back a few minutes later and its gone, but I didnt think he ate it, so I check under the paper towel while he can't see me and...a tiny bug runs across the tank. Obviously im thinking of a way to get him out and clean the tank ASAP, but what could these bugs be?

I wasn't able to see it very well, cause it ran very fast and i caught it out of the corner of my eye, but I only saw one. I fed crickets (non-adult) around september-november to the gecko that was in the cage before. I just cleaned out the cage and I didnt see the bug.

well either you can take out your new gecko and place him somewhere safe for now and wash out your tank,or you can leave your little guy in there and have him nibbled on by that bug(s)

can you post a pic of them?(bug and gecko)

I already cleaned out the tank, and I didn't find the bug but I assumed it was in one of those tiny piles of calcium that fell off the carpet. Ill have a picture of the gecko someday soon (maybe tomorrow)

Yeah, I just had the same thing in one of my tanks. It sounds like baby crickets. If you look in the water dish there may be some dead babies in the water, you can look at them closely and they will look like a TINY cricket.
