Tired after eating?

Every time I feed my gecko she's like me after a night of pizza, chinese food, or just too much wings and beer - passed out in a food-coma for hours

I just fed her again tonite, within minutes shes over on the hot spot of the tank passed out, doesn't even move when I open the top screen (which normally she jumps up from the sound it makes)

Is this normal behavior? They just get tired and digest for the rest of the night?

:main_laugh: For the most part. Eat, poop and sleep. That is why I make them hunt. If not they get lazy and fat.

The only real exercise they can get is from hunting. If they know they have to wait for you to bring food, they will hardly move and spend most of the time hiding until they see you coming close and will run out. What I do is if I am feeding worms, I spread them down on the floor so that he has to walk around collecting.

Be spontaneous and it will keep them more active.

After feeding they have no reason to expend any more any energy, other than for digesting. I often have the same issue after my break at work!
