Toe problem, humidity related?

One of my leos, a female APTOR, looks like she may lose part of two toes on one of her rear feet. They are dark brown and thin looking. My first thought was that some unshed skin had constricted the toes as we've all read about, but I've been running an ultrasonic humidifier in the herp room for the past month. The humidity has been above 50% almost all the time.

Her tank was actually closer to the humidifier than most of my other leos, so I think it's unlikely that this was caused by low humidity. It seems more likely to me that she may have a toe/skin rot problem from the humidity being too high. I gave her a couple warm water soaks last night, but now I think she may need some antifungal creme instead. I've already turned off the humidifier.

I have a good herp vet, so I'll give him a call tomorrow. I'll also try and post some pictures tonight or tomorrow. Thanks in advance for your thoughts on this matter. I feel terrible about it, but she's not thin and seems to be doing pretty well otherwise.

I have a thermostat on the 8-watt UTH, and it's turned down a little bit from running wide open. Still, the only substrate in her aquarium was paper towels. I thought thermal burn might be a possibility, so I've already changed her substrate to one of those green cage carpets. Now she has something more substantial between the hot glass and her tender little toes.

I have another leo with the identical setup, but he's had cage carpet the whole time and hasn't had any problems. None of my leos on paper towels in racks have had problems either, but maybe this APTOR did get a little too much UTH. I'll turn down the thermostat a bit more, and get a thermometer to place on the cage carpet first thing tomorrow. It didn't feel that hot to the touch, but I guess I should have had a thermometer on the substrate in the first place.

I'm upset at myself because I had thought of putting the cage carpet in there a week ago but didn't follow through. I noticed she wasn't eating a lot and figured she was in hibernation mode, but I had no indication that this might happen to her toes.
