Toe shedding issues

So my leo shed last night and she has had toes shedding issues since day one. Earlier I put her in a little bath and she didn't seem to like it, and I can't get her to stay still long enough for me to try to get the shed off her toes. How do I get the shed off? She's already lost parts of her toes in the past, and I don't want her to loose more.

Get a tupper wear and fill it a little less than an inch with warm water, so she can't get out. After she's soaked her toes you can dip a q tip in warm water and rub the stuck shed off, just get a good (gentle) grip on her so just her legs are sticking out between your fingers. You can also use tweezers to try and gently pull it off after she's soaked in the warm water. :)

Yep, I usually use a tupperware with a lid, or I use a bowl deep enough that they can't climb out and keep the cover cracked a bit. Just be careful not to leave the gecko in a completely sealed container too long.

Do you have her on a vitamin supplement? Sometimes vitamin deficiencies can lead to shedding issues. Repashy Calcium Plus is a great all in one that's available in most pet stores if not. Soaks sound like a great idea! Make sure she has a nice moist hide in her cage and it may be a good idea to switch to under tank heat if you're heating with lights. Lights have a tendency to dry out the air in an enclosure and can lead to shedding issues. Good luck!
