Tokay Gecko weight loss after 24 hours in captivity

I catch this Tokay Gecko of mine in the forest, from 650 grams it drastically loss weight in 48 hours. Now its only 250 grams and the odor became worst than i expected.

No improvement, even I follow my vet advice to give worms and cricket. Still having problem, how to retain its original weight?

650g tokay huh?! That lost 400g (50g short of 1 pound) in 2 days! A 650g tokay would be the size of a sub-adult green tree python. Did you mean 65g and 25g? That's more believable, particularly for a juvenile tokay. Shoot, New Caledonian giant geckos (Grand Terre locality) reach roughly 17 inches and can weigh over 200g. A 650g tokay would be huge, to say the least.

For reference: The below tokay photo dates to Nov 2004 and was 4 years old. He's now approximately 13 inches and probably around 170-180g.

Well if you recently caught it wild, it's probably stressed out from the environment change.

640 grams? but wiki says tokay geckos weight range is 150-300grams only...
